Si nous étudions le texte hébraïque de l'A.T. lors de l'apparition au chêne de Mamabré, nous remarquerons que pour l'Eternel Un, le pluriel est utilisé, mention donc de la Trinité."

Este vorba despre Sfanta Treime ( Dogma Sfintei Treimi ) : Facerea, sau Geneza ( Biblie ), Capitolul 18, cu titlul "Avraam primeste pe Sfânta Treime la stejarul Mamvri", versetul 1 ( si urmatoarele ) : "Apoi Domnul S-a arãtat iarãsi lui Avraam la stejarul Mamvri, într-o zi pe la amiazã, când sedea el în usa cortului sãu." - bibliaortodoxa.ro

8 And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

9 And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.

10 And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.

11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.

12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?

13 And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?

14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

15 Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

16 And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.

17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;

19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

20 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;

21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

22 And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.

23 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?

25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

26 And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

27 And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes:

28 Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.

29 And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty's sake.

30 And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.

31 And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty's sake.

32 And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.

1. Apoi Domnul S-a arătat iarăşi lui Avraam la stejarul Mamvri, într-o zi pe la amiază, când şedea el în uşa cortului său.
2. Atunci ridicându-şi ochii săi, a privit şi iată trei Oameni stăteau înaintea lui; şi cum l-a văzut, a alergat din pragul cortului său în întâmpinarea Lor şi s-a închinat până la pământ.
3. Apoi a zis: "Doamne, de am aflat har înaintea Ta, nu ocoli pe robul Tău!
4. Se va aduce apă să Vă spălaţi picioarele şi să Vă odihniţi sub acest copac.
5. Şi voi aduce pâine şi veţi mânca, apoi Vă veţi duce în drumul Vostru, întrucât treceţi pe la robul Vostru!" Zis-au Aceia: "Fă, precum ai zis!"
6. După aceea a alergat Avraam în cort la Sarra şi i-a zis: "Frământă degrabă trei măsuri de făină bună şi fă azime!"
7. Apoi Avraam a dat fuga la cireadă, a luat un viţel tânăr şi gras şi l-a dat slugii, care l-a gătit degrabă.
8. Şi a luat Avraam unt, lapte şi viţelul cel gătit şi le-a pus înaintea Lor şi pe când Ei mâncau a stat şi el alături de Ei sub copac.
9. Şi l-au întrebat Oamenii aceia: -Unde este Sarra, femeia ta?" Iar el, răspunzând, a zis: "Iată, în cort!"
10. Zis-a Unul: "Iată, la anul pe vremea asta am să vin iar pe la tine şi Sarra, femeia ta, va avea un fiu". Iar Sarra a auzit din uşa cortului, de la spatele lui.
11. Avraam şi Sarra însă erau bătrâni, înaintaţi în vârstă, şi Sarra nu mai era în stare să zămislească.
12. Şi a râs Sarra în sine şi şi-a zis: "Să mai am eu oare această mângâiere acum, când am îmbătrânit şi când e bătrân şi stăpânul meu?"
13. Atunci a zis Domnul către Avraam: "Pentru ce a râs Sarra în sine şi a zis: "Oare cu adevărat voi naşte, bătrână cum sunt?"
14. Este oare ceva cu neputinţă la Dumnezeu? La anul pe vremea aceasta am să vin pe la tine şi Sarra va avea un fiu!"
15. Iar Sarra a tăgăduit, zicând: "N-am râs", căci se înspăimântase. Acela însă i-a zis: "Ba, ai râs!"
16. Apoi S-au sculat Oamenii aceia de acolo şi S-au îndreptat spre Sodoma şi Gomora şi s-a dus şi Avraam cu Ei, ca să-I petreacă.
17. Domnul însă a zis: "Tăinui-voi Eu oare de Avraam, sluga Mea, ceea ce voiesc să fac?
18. Din Avraam cu adevărat se va ridica un popor mare şi tare şi printr-însul se vor binecuvânta toate neamurile pământului,
19. Că l-am ales, ca să înveţe pe fiii şi casa sa după sine să umble în calea Domnului şi să facă judecată şi dreptate; pentru ca să aducă Domnul asupra lui Avraam toate câte i-a făgăduit".
20. Zis-a deci Domnul: "Strigarea Sodomei şi a Gomorei e mare şi păcatul lor cumplit de greu.
21. Pogorî-Mă-voi deci să văd dacă faptele lor sunt cu adevărat aşa cum s-a suit până la Mine strigarea împotriva lor, iar de nu, să ştiu".
22. De acolo doi din Oamenii aceia, plecând, S-au îndreptat spre Sodoma, în vreme ce Avraam stătea încă înaintea Domnului.
23. Şi apropiindu-se Avraam, a zis: "Pierde-vei, oare, pe cel drept ca şi pe cel păcătos, încât să se întâmple celui drept ce se întâmplă celui nelegiuit?
24. Poate în cetatea aceea să fie cincizeci de drepţi: pierde-i-vei, oare, şi nu vei cruţa tot locul acela pentru cei cincizeci de drepţi, de se vor afla în cetate?
25. Nu se poate ca Tu să faci una ca asta şi să pierzi pe cel drept ca şi pe cel fără de lege şi să se întâmple celui drept ce se întâmplă celui necredincios! Departe de Tine una ca asta! Judecătorul a tot pământul va face, oare, nedreptate?"
26. Zis-a Domnul: "De se vor găsi în cetatea Sodomei cincizeci de drepţi, voi cruţa pentru ei toată cetatea şi tot locul acela".
27. Şi răspunzând Avraam, a zis: "Iată, cutez să vorbesc Stăpânului meu, eu, care sunt pulbere şi cenuşă!
28. Poate că lipsesc cinci din cincizeci de drepţi; poate să fie numai patruzeci şi cinci; pentru lipsa a cinci pierde-vei, oare, toată cetatea?" Zis-a Domnul: "Nu o voi pierde de voi găsi acolo patruzeci şi cinci de drepţi".
29. Şi a adăugat Avraam să grăiască Domnului şi a zis: "Dar de se vor găsi acolo numai patruzeci de drepţi?" Şi Domnul a zis: "Nu o voi pierde pentru cei patruzeci!"
30. Şi a zis iarăşi Avraam: "Să nu Se mânie Stăpânul meu de voi mai grăi: Dar de se vor găsi acolo numai treizeci de drepţi?" Zis-a Domnul: "Nu o voi pierde de voi găsi acolo treizeci".
31. Şi a zis Avraam: "Iată, mai cutez să vorbesc Stăpânului meu! Poate că se vor găsi acolo numai douăzeci de drepţi". Răspuns-a Domnul: "Nu o voi pierde pentru cei douăzeci".
32. Şi a mai zis Avraam: "Să nu se mânie Stăpânul meu de voi mai grăi încă o dată: Dar de se vor găsi acolo numai zece drepţi?" Iar Domnul i-a zis: "Pentru cei zece nu o voi pierde".
33. Şi terminând Domnul de a mai grăi cu Avraam; S-a dus, iar Avraam s-a întors la locul său.
