I bind unto myself today
the strong Name of the Trinity,
by invocation of the same,
the Three in One, and One in Three.
I bind this day to me for ever,
by power of faith, Christ’s Incarnation;
his baptism in Jordan river;
his death on cross for my salvation;
his bursting from the spicèd tomb;
his riding up the heavenly way;
his coming at the day of doom:
I bind unto myself today.
I bind unto myself the power
of the great love of cherubim;
the sweet “Well done” in judgment hour;
the service of the seraphim;
confessors’ faith, apostles’ word,
the patriarchs’ prayers, the prophets’ scrolls;
all good deeds done unto the Lord,
and purity of virgin souls.
I bind unto myself today
the virtues of the starlit heaven
the glorious sun’s life-giving ray,
the whiteness of the moon at even,
the flashing of the lightning free,
the whirling wind’s tempestuous shocks,
the stable earth, the deep salt sea,
around the old eternal rocks.
I bind unto myself today
the power of God to hold and lead,
his eye to watch, his might to stay,
his ear to hearken, to my need;
the wisdom of my God to teach,
his hand to guide, his shield to ward;
the word of God to give me speech,
his heavenly host to be my guard.
Christ be with me,
Christ within me,
Christ behind me,
Christ before me,
Christ beside me,
Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort
and restore me.
Christ beneath me,
Christ above me,
Christ in quiet,
Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts of
all that love me,
Christ in mouth of
friend and stranger.
I bind unto myself today
the strong Name of the Trinity,
by invocation of the same,
the Three in One, and One in Three.
Of whom all nature hath creation,
eternal Father, Spirit, Word:
praise to the Lord of my salvation,
salvation is of Christ the Lord.
attributed to St. Patrick (372-466);

Attende Domine
Latin:
Attende Domine, et miserere, quia peccavimus tibi.
Ad te Rex summe,omnium Redemptor, oculos nostros sublevamus flentes: exaudi, Christe, supplicantum preces.
Attende Domine, et miserere, quia peccavimus tibi.
Dextera Patris, lapis angularis, via salutis, ianua caelestis, ablue nostri maculas delicti.
Attende Domine, et miserere, quia peccavimus tibi.
Rogamus, Deus, tuam maiestatem: auribus sacris gemitus exaudi: crimina nostra placidus indulge.
Attende Domine, et miserere, quia peccavimus tibi.
Tibi fatemur crimina admissa: contrito corde pandimus occulta: tua, Redemptor, pietas ignoscat.
Attende Domine, et miserere, quia peccavimus tibi.
Innocens captus nec repugnans ductus; testibus falsis pro impiis damnatus quos redemisti, tu conserva, Christe.
Attende Domine, et miserere, quia peccavimus tibi.
English:
Hear us, O Lord, and have mercy, because we have sinned against Thee.
To Thee, highest King, Redeemer of all, do we lift up our eyes in weeping: Hear, O Christ, the prayers of your servants.
Hear us, O Lord, and have mercy, because we have sinned against Thee.
Right hand of the Father, corner-stone, way of salvation, gate of heaven, wash away our stains of sin.
Hear us, O Lord, and have mercy, because we have sinned against Thee.
We beseech Thee, God, in Thy great majesty: Hear our groans with Thy holy ears: calmly forgive our crimes.
Hear us, O Lord, and have mercy, because we have sinned against Thee.
To Thee we confess our sins admitted with a contrite heart We reveal the things hidden: By Thy kindness, O Redeemer, overlook them.
Hear us, O Lord, and have mercy, because we have sinned against Thee.
The Innocent, seized, not refusing to be led; condemned by false witnesses because of impious men O Christ, keep safe those whom Thou hast redeemed.
Hear us, O Lord, and have mercy, because we have sinned against Thee.

Prayer
to St. Joseph
for The Church Militant
On March 19, 2011, in Catholic Prayers, by
uCatholic
Protect the Sovereign Pontiff and all bishops and priests united with him. Be the protector of all who labor for souls amid the trials and tribulations of this life; and grant that all peoples of the world may be docile to the Church without which there is no salvation.
Dear Saint Joseph, accept the offering I make to you. Be my father, protector, and guide in the way of salvation. Obtain for me purity of heart and a love for the spiritual life. After you example, let all my actions be directed to the greater glory of God, in union with the Divine Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and your own paternal heart. Finally, pray for me that I may share in the peace and joy of your holy death.
Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy

trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
.
Hail Mary / Ave Maria
/ Bucura-te Marie

The Confiteor
I confess to Almighty God, to blessed Mary ever Virgin,
to blessed Michael, the Archangel, to blessed John the Baptist, to the holy
Apostles Peter and Paul, to all the Saints and to you, Father, that I have sinned
exceedingly, in thought, word and deed, through my fault, through my fault,
through my most grievous fault. Therefore I beseech the blessed Mary, ever
Virgin, blessed Micahel the Archangel, blessed John the Baptist, the holy
Apostles Peter and Paul, all the Saints, and you, Father, to pray to the Lord
our God for me.
.
Hail, Holy Queen / Bucura-te Regina
Hail , Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness, and
our hope! To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve! To you do we send up
our sighs, mourning, and weeping, in this vale of tears! Turn then, most
gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us; and after this, our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus! O clement. O loving, O
sweet Virgin Mary!
.
The Fatima Prayer
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires
of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Your
Mercy.
.
Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry
for having offended Thee,
and I detest all my sins
because I dread the loss of Heaven
and the pains of hell;
but most of all because they offend Thee, my God,
Who art all-good and deserving of all my love.
I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace,
to confess my sins, to do penance
and to amend my life.
Amen
.
Grace Before Meals
Bless Us O Lord,
for these thy gifts
which we are about to receive
from Thy bounty;
Through Christ Our Lord.
Amen.
Grace After Meals
We give You thanks, Almighty God,
for these and all your blessings;
As you live and reign
For ever and ever.
Amen.
.
St. Michael
St. Michael the Archangel ,
defend us in battle
be our protection against the wickedness
and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray.
Oh prince of heavenly hosts,
by the power of God, thrust into Hell
Satan and all evil spirits who wander
through the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.
Anima Christi / Sufletul lui Isus (
Sfantul Ignatiu de Loyola, rugaciune, invocare )
Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, protect me.
Blood of Christ, fill me.
Water from Christ’s side, purify me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
Within your wounds hide me;
Never permit me to leave thee.
From the evil one defend me.
In my last hour, call me.
And bid me come to thee,
And with your saints and angels
Praise thee,
Throughout eternity.
Amen.
Apostles Creed / Crezul Apostolilor / Simbolul Apostolilor
I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ,
his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the
power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge
the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy Catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.
Nicene Creed / CREZUL
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation.
He came down from heaven:
(bow) by the power of the Holy Spirit
he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered, died, and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in fulfillment of the Scriptures:
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy Catholic and apostolic Church
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
